Who we are
The Scrum Masters’ Guild (SMG) is a group of BC Public Service employees and contracted partners who are passionate about exploring and sharing knowledge about Agile coaching, including the scrum master role, and improving Agile ways of working across the BC Public Service. Our community is made up of professionals who are interested in sharing experiences and growing skills to deliver products and services with agility.
What we do
The Scrum Masters’ Guild provides a safe and supportive forum for existing and prospective scrum masters and Agile coaches to connect and grow their knowledge and skills. Additionally, the SMG works to grow the overall Agile community across the B.C. Government. The SMG is a peer-to-peer community that focuses more on mentoring and experiential learning vs training or professional coaching. We have monthly meetups which range from topic-based sessions to collaborative problem-solving sessions. Bring your tricky scenarios and get support from the community in unpacking them and figuring out how best to move forward!
